Part of the fun in the Dynasty Warriors series is the ability to play as numerous characters. Each with different weapons and abilities. When Hyrule Warriors was announced, it was wondered how many characters would be playable outside of link.
So far, we’ve been told that Link, Zelda, Impa, and the awesome Midna would be playable in the game. Today, we got two more introductions, and they may not be what you’re expecting…
First off, there is a girl named “Lana” that will be playable. This character appears on the cover art for the Japanese version of the game, but has no ties to Zelda Lore (that we know of), so it’s very possible she’s a new character added to this game.
Second, comes a very curious addition from Twilight Princess. Agitha!
…what? Oh, you don’t remember Agitha? Well, she’s the Princess of the Insect Kingdom. In Twilight Princess you would collect Gold Bugs and give them to Agitha in return for rewards.
It is said, that in the game you’ll be able to use her parasol as a weapon, and also be able to summon insects to attack your enemies. Like I said, curious addition.
