When Vin Diesel casually posted on Facebook a month ago that Marvel had requested a meeting, which he had no idea what was for, speculation was rampant on the nature of the meeting. You can see what we had to say about it here. Now the action star has returned from said meeting and teases that:
“Marvel meeting today… Only the people in the room can tell you what was discussed… P.s. Thanks to Our page, for pushing to make it happen… you know I get tunnel vision with my work… and after that meeting today… wow!”Vin Diesel
Included in the Facebook post is Vin Diesel posing alongside a framed cover of The Avengers #2 original comic book issue, this will probably start rumors concerning Avengers 2 of course. Diesel has been campaigning for the role of Vision for who knows how long now and he did manage to add the word “vision” to his quote. Could that be a hint as well? So maybe Vision, the voice of Thanos, or what about Rocket Raccoon?
We really have no idea, maybe we’ll find out more at SDCC.
