HBO has released the first trailer for season 4 of Game of Thrones!
Some cool glimpses here that fans of the book will recognize and new stuff too. There’s a great scene between Joffrey and his uncle* Jaime Lannister, in which Jaime tries to explain to Joffrey that he can’t claim victory in a war because it’s not over yet. In another scene Tyrion tells someone that if they want justice, they’ve come to the wrong place. Then there’s Pedro Pascal’s Oberyn Martell aka The Red Viper, in a famous fight from the books.
Based on the epic book series “A Song of Ice and Fire,” by George R.R. Martin, the hit Emmy-winning fantasy series chronicles an epic struggle for power in a vast and violent fantasy kingdom.
Members of the ensemble cast include Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Kit Harington, Natalie Dormer, Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner.
The fourth season will premiere on Sunday, April 6 at 9 p.m.
