We’ve known for a few months that Sledgehammer Games would be taking over the reins for this year’s Call of Duty entry, but other than the above image we knew little else.
Well Activision is set announce the title and details for the next Call of Duty game on Sunday. But in the meantime it’s leaked. You can watch it at the bottom of the page.
We’ve also got a video that begins:
“In the next Call of Duty, the world’s most powerful military is not a country. It’s a corporation.”
The video focuses on the rise of private military corporations (PMCs) over the past two decades. These organizations are drawing soldiers away from national armies with offers of higher pay for shorter tenures. And according to Vice, PMCs will fight on behalf of anyone from human-rights groups to terrorist organizations — as long as the price is right.
The game revolves around a one such soldier of fortune group run by Spacey’s character that has turned on the United States government. As shown in the pics below, players will wear exosuits to jump super high, scale buildings, and cloak themselves.
Also, hoverbikes will be part of the game.
Power changes everything on November 4th, 2014.
