Zack Snyder meeting with Frank Miller to talk Batman vs. Superman

August 1st, 2013 by Edwin Torres Jr 1 Comment

Independent reports that Batman vs Superman ( not an official title) director Zack Snyder will have talks in the next few days with the man who pitted the two superheroes against each other in the iconic comic book story.

Writer and artist Frank Miller cast an older Bruce Wayne against Clark Kent in Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, a series later compiled into a graphic novel, just under 30 years ago.

A source close to Miller told the Independent:

“Frank had no idea the announcement in San Diego was going to happen so it did come as a surprise. He’s going to be meeting up with Zack in the next few days to go over the plans for the Superman film so things should be clearer after that.”

The Zack Snyder film will be scripted by David S. Goyer and is set to begin filming early next year for a Summer 2015 release. The movie currently stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane. Batman has yet to be cast.

What do you think of Snyder meeting with Miller?
