This year’s British Acadamy Film and Television Awards (AKA the BAFTA’s) have finally been announced and this has thrown up a nice mixed bag of winners including one big surprise when it comes to one of the biggest awards.

Below is the full list of winners which should set them up nicely for this year’s Oscars

Best British Film – Skyfall

Short Animation – The Making of Longbird

Short Film – Swimmer

Best Hair and Makeup – Les Miserables

Best Costume Design – Anna Karenina

Best Animated Film – Brave

Best Editing – Argo

Best Sound – Les Miserables

Best Cinematography – Lif of Pi

Best Original Music – Skyfall

Best Original Screenplay – Quentin Tarantino – Django Unchained

Best Supporting Actor – Christoph Waltz -Django Unchained

Best Supporting Actress – Anne Hathaway – Les Miserables

Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer – Bart Layton and Dimitri Doganis – The Imposter

Special Visual Effects – Life of Pi

Best Adapted Screenplay – Silver Lining Playbook

Film not in the English Language – Amour

Rising Star Award – Juno Temple

Best Documentary – Searching for Sugar Man

Best Production Design – Les Miserables

Best Actress – Emmanuelle Rava – Amour

Best Actor – Daniel-Day Lewis – Lincoln

Best Director – Ben Affleck – Argo

Best Film – Argo
