Abrams Confirms Certain Force Awakens Rumors Are True

If there is one true certainty in our modern era (yes, death and taxes still apply), it’s that nothing stays secret for long. Whether it’s hacks, word-of-mouth, set pictures, and more, things get spoiled.

For one man, J.J. Abrams, this is a constant battle. He likes secrets, especially for his movies, and he fights to keep them secret. For Star Wars: The Force Awakens, there has been a LOT of rumors about what’s going on in the films. And now, Abrams has confirmed that SOME, keyword “some”, of the rumors mentioned are true.

“We did the best we can to preserve the story for the audience, but it doesn’t always work. There are a ton of rumors — some true, some false. But I’m grateful for everyone who would want to read a spoiler because it means that they care and want to see the movie. I know what it feels like, as an enormous Star Wars fan myself.”

So yeah, he’s taking it in stride, and teasing us with not revealing what’s true and what’s not. What’s definitely true is that December is drawing closer every day, which means more details for Star Wars will definitely be coming soon.
