The Alien franchise is the perfect example of a phenomenal series losing steam after a while. The first two movies are considered legends among the film universe. But everything after that? Not so much. And after Alien: Covenants failure at the box office, it became uncertain what was next for the franchise. But now, we know possibly.
According to Omega Underground, the word on the street is that Fox is going to try and develop a TV series based on Alien. This could work if done right. The catch is that it may not focus on the Xenomorphs, rather, just the planet they’re from.
Given that Fox is in merger chats with Disney, this may not come to life, it all just depends on how everything breaks down, and when.
