The director from down under, Taika Waititi is all set to go after an animated Flash Gordon movie and oh my god I for one can’t wait.
No one is sure what the Thor: Ragnarok director will be doing as of the moment, however it is heavily speculated that he will write, direct and act as the triple threat has done many times over.
Now this project has been in development for quite a while now with not much news around it till now but we can also confirm that Matthew Vaughn from Kingsman along with the Overlord director Julius Avery are just a few of the other who have been named for the mix in this animated adventure.
An animated venture may be the best way to tackle the Flash Gordon name with all other attempts done either end up looking way too cheesy and just don’t have the budget, and in doing so has made him even more B-Grade than the old Aquaman. Taika Waititi will breathe new life into the old novel and hopefully bring it screaming out of the ashes.
