Aquaman director James Wan tells everyone to relax over the ‘no trailer yet’ issue

March 27th, 2018 by Marc Comments

With the whole internet claiming they’ve seen Aquaman and it’s great/awful (we’re going to hold out on reporting any of this stuff), we’re just patiently waiting for a trailer.

A trailer, we might add, that we’d heard was on its way last week. However, no trailer arrived and, of course, this meant the movie was terrible, a disaster, etc.

Now, however, director James Wan has taken to the ol’ Twitter to put people’s minds at ease, saying it’s an effects heavy movie and there’s no issue, he just wants it all perfect before we see it.

And that’s fine by us. Check out his tweets below:

‘Aquaman’ will center on Aquaman as a reluctant ruler of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis who is caught between land dwellers that are always polluting the globe and his own people who are ready to invade the surface.

Aquaman is the King of the Seven Seas. This reluctant ruler of Atlantis, caught between a surface world constantly ravaging the sea and Atlanteans looking to lash out in revolt, is committed to protecting the entire globe.

Aquaman will hit theaters on December 21st.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
