So last night it was revealed that Spider-man: Homecoming will probably feature Mary Jane Watson (here), which is cool, and now we can possibly confirm another pretty awesome character.

We reported last week that the movie would feature the villainous tinkerer played by Michael Chernus (here) and we’re still pretty confident that Michael Keaton will be playing Vulture (we know they’re both in it, it’s just not confirmed that they are one and the same) and now we also know that Spidey will fight… Shocker.

A new call sheet has leaked online (below) and seems to confirm what we already heard rumoured – that actor Bokeem Woodbine would play the third villain in the movie.

We’re also hearing that Tinkerer is a disgruntled Stark Industries employee who, in a bid to make Tony Stark’s and the Avengers’ lives difficult, will supply Herman Schultz and Adrian Toomes with Stark battle Tech and they will then become Shocker and Vulture.

We can see some similarities here between this and the plot of The Amazing Spider-man 2, where The Sinister Six were being set up with tech from Oscorp.

And, in fairness, this works fine for us.

However, it doesn’t end there as the cast sheet also reveals a few other minor Spider-man characters:

The Nice Guys’ young star Angourie Rice is Betty Brandt who will one day work at The Daily Bugle with Peter parker; she was played by Elizabeth Banks in the Raimi movies. Selenis Leyva, Martin Starr, Hannibal Buress and Tunde Adebimpe all seem to be teachers at Peter’s school.

However, aside from Woodbine’s casting, one of the most interesting pieces on the call sheet is that Kenneth Choi is appearing. Choi is Howling Commando Jim Morita in the Captain America movies but here he is playing… Morita’s grandson. That’s pretty cool and, given that Spidey has fought Cap in Civil War, we reckon there could be fun banter to be had.

So there you have it… a full cast and three fairly high profile villains. are we worried? A little, but we have trust in Marvel at this stage…

Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Homecoming stars Tom Holland in the title role, with Zendaya (Michelle), Laura Harrier (Liz Allen), Tony Revolori (Flash Thompson), Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds), Bokeem Woodbine, Tyne Daly, Kenneth Choi, Martin Starr, Donald Glover, Logan Marshall-Green, Hannibal Buress, Selenis Leyva, Michael Mando, Garcelle Beauvais, Abraham Attah, Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey Jr and Michael Keaton. The movie is scheduled for release July 7, 2017.
