Deadpool and the X-Men have been affiliated with each other for a very long time. Wade Wilson even appeared in the X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but the less we talk about that the better.
Well, it’s good to know that this link has not been forgotten and that the metal man, Colossus, is going to have a major role in the film.
There is even a brief clip of him in the trailer.
During Amazing Hawaii Comic Con, creator of Deadpool Rob Leifield talked about Colossus’s appearance in the film: “You are going to love Colossus… he’s in it a good amount. He doesnt just walk through the movie.”
In the trailer we see him fighting Deadpool. It’s a small scene though and doesn’t have the epic battle feel that these two deserve.
Daniel Cudmore, the original actor of Colossus from the X-Men Franchise, will not be reprising his role. Actor and stuntman Andre Tricoteux will be the new Colossus.
Deadpool will be released on the fifth of February, 2016 in the UK and February 12th 2016 in the US.
