Confirmed: X-Men: Apocalypse Set in 1983?

Remember a while back it was confirmed that X-Men: Apocalypse would take place in the 1980s? (Here)

Well, it seems that the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse may actually be a prequel to the original movie. In an interview with The Q&A Podcast about X-Men: Days of Future Past, screenwriter Simon Kinberg stated that the “next movie takes place in 1983,” 10 years after Days of Future Past.

It has already been confirmed that Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Storm will appear, with rumours that Gambit and possibly Nightcrawler will also be featured.
