David Harbour says things are happening on his return as Santa Claus in Violent Night sequel

David Harbour may not be returning as Hellboy but we might just see him back as Santa Claus in the neat future.

In a new interview, the Stranger Things and Creature Commandos star was asked if we might get a sequel to 2022’s unlikely violent festive hit, Violent Night, in which Santa Claus/Kris Kringle, played by Harbour, goes full John Wick.

It’s a fun watch for sure and sits nicely in the pantheon of adult Christmas movies and it seems that we might be getting a sequel.

In January last year, director Tommy Wirkola said that a sequel was coming but was derailed somewhat by the writers’ and then actors’ strikes but it seems there is a desire out there for a more on this version of Santa and Harbout isn’t only aware of that but is actively trying to make it happen.

The star says: “Keep your eyes peeled because I also love that movie, and I think that Universal was excited about that idea [of a sequel] as well. So we’re working a little bit.

“I do think there’s some very talented people working on it, so yeah, I’m excited about.

Thoughts on this one, guys? Would you be excited to see Harbour’s Santa return for more ass-kicking? Let me know your thoughts, I know you have them…
