Remember we reported that Idris Elba was set to star in the Knights of the Round Table movie as King Arthur’s mentor – presumably Merlin – (here)? And then he left (here)? Well, it looks like Elba’s replacement may be in place...
Well it seems that Djimon Hounsou is in talks for the role at Warner Bros.
Guy Ritchie is directing and Charlie Hunnam will play Arthur while Astrid Berges-Frisbey is Guinevere and, as we reported earlier, Jude Law may well be the villain (here).
As it stands the movie is planned as the beginning of a six movie franchise.
