Doomsday and KGBeast confirmed for Batman V Superman?

After our report a while back that KGBeast would be in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, it looks like he’s been confirmed and so has his role in the movie.

From what we’re hearing his appearance will be like that of Victor Zsasz in Batman Begins, wherein he’ll appear and will be seen but nothing of the player he is in the comics will be revealed. Yet.

Badass Digest are reporting that: “Lex Luthor has many agents making his dark agenda a reality, an agenda that includes keeping an eye on all metahumans, mainly a woman who walks the streets today but who is seen in pictures from the 1800s. A wonder woman, you might say.

“At any rate, one of Luthor’s agents has a name, and that name is Anatoli Knyazev. Hardcore fans will recognize that as the name of the KGBeast, a Batman villain introduced in 1988’s classic Ten Nights of the Beast storyline. In that story the Beast, an enhanced agent of the KGB, came to the US to kill ten targets, and he did it with extreme measures, including poisoning an entire 200 person dinner party to get one guy. He battled Batman to a standstill, and at one point when entangled in the Batrope the KGBeast cut off his own hand to escape. He of course put a cybernetic gun on the stump, as you do. “

It goes on to say that we won’t see gun arm Beast here but rather a paid assassin only – that’s not to say that, when Cyborg is revealed in Justice League we won’t see things like this happen in the movies more often – kinda like the way Tony Stark seems to run everything that needs power in the Marvel movies.

They also quite nonchalantly announce that Doomsday WILL be in the movie too. Although we’re sticking with our theory that the League will be coming together by the end of the movie and just pre-credits BOOM! Doomsday will appear… cue lead in to the Justice League movie.

They also say that Joker won’t be in the movie but will certainly be referred to and that Superman is well aware of his name and actions – it seems the Crime  Prince of Crime is already a deadly celebrity in the movie. I for one am suffering major fanboy overload at all this news… that’s how you build a universe.

Take all this as rumour until we hear more…
