Simon Kinberg has confirmed that the trailer for Fantastic Four will be debut in the US on February 13th as it’s attached to Kingsman: The Secret Service, despite all the rumors that the movie is in a dire place right now (here).

Well, while Kingsman opens in February in the US, it opens on January 29th here in the UK and apparently, if reports are to be believed, a FOX PR person has said that many of the UK screenings will have the trailer – a full two weeks before it debuts on US screens.

Interestingly, Kingsman director Matthew Vaughn has confirmed he has seen Fantastic Four (see the above link) and it’s “good”.

Obviously, we reckon that, if it is attached to the UK prints of the movie, we’ll see it online officially long before the US release date. Because, with so many people talking about this movie – most for the wrong reasons – the trailer will almost certainly appear online from people recording screens with phones immediately.

So prehaps we can expect to see the trailer this coming week? Time will tell…

Fantastic Four will land in theaters August 7, 2015.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
