Ohhhhhhh, this looks pretty good, indeed.
We finally have our first official look at Kristen Wiig as the villainous Cheetah and she looks pretty damned awesome.
There is still some discussion online about whether or not Cheetah will be practical make-up or CGI and I must say, from looking at the new image, I believe it’s practical. I’d imagine in the movie it will be a combination of both.
The image shows Wiig’s Barbara Ann Minerva fully transformed into the villainous Cheetah for Patty Jenkins’ upcoming sequel and it certainly looks like she’ll give Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman a run for her money in the badass lady stakes.
The movie stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince / Wonder Woman, Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Kristen Wiig as Barbara Ann Minerva / Cheetah, Pedro Pascal as Maxwell Lord, Robin Wright as Antiope and Connie Nielsen as Hippolyta.
Wonder Woman 1984 will finally be released (probably) on October 2nd, 2020
