Four awesome new Hellboy movie posters drop

March 21st, 2019 by Marc Comments

We’re only a few weeks out from the release of the new Hellboy movie starring Stranger Things’ David Harbour and I was honestly beginning to think they weren’t even going to really start a marketing campaign…

But it looks like the ball is beginning to roll with four new – awesome – posters for the movie just released.

Now the only question is… can I hold off and see Captain Marvel, Shazam! and Hellboy all in one day? Now, there’s a challenge.

Hellboy is back, and he’s on fire. From the pages of Mike Mignola’s seminal work, this action-packed story sees the legendary half-demon superhero (David Harbour, “Stranger Things”) called to the English countryside to battle a trio of rampaging giants. There he discovers The Blood Queen, Nimue (Milla Jovovich, Resident Evil series), a resurrected ancient sorceress thirsting to avenge a past betrayal. Suddenly caught in a clash between the supernatural and the human, Hellboy is now hell-bent on stopping Nimue without triggering the end of the world.

Hellboy is set for release on April 12th 2019 sees Neil Marshall (Game of Thrones) directing Stranger Thingsstar David Harbour in the lead role alongside Ian McShane (American Gods) as Professor Bruttenholm, Sasha Lane (American Honey) as Alice Monaghan, Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil) as the Queen of Blood, Daniel Dae Kim (Hawaii Five-O) as Major Ben Daimio and Penelope Mitchell (The Vampire Diaries) as Ganeida.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
