So, remember last year we reported that Arrow’s producer Greg Berlanti may be handling a Booster Gold movie at Warner/DC (here)?

Well, now DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns is reporting that the character is currently a big part of the future of the DC Cinematic Universe’s future: “You’ll see [Booster Gold] very soon, and there’s talks about…there’s actually a lot of plans for Booster Gold, one of my favorite characters.

“But yeah, Booster Gold fans, you will definitely be happy with what we’ve got coming up in the years ahead.”

We’d love to see Booster in the DC movies as his arrival would bring time travel and utter craziness to the DCU. Would you? Let us know.

[Booster] is initially depicted as a glory-seeking showboat from the future, using knowledge of historical events and futuristic technology to stage high-publicity heroics. Booster develops over the course of his publication history and through personal tragedies to become a true hero weighed down by the reputation he created for himself according to Wikipedia.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
