From season two of Fargo and Spiderman: Homecoming, Bokeem Woodbine has jumped in the Ecto-1 and driven straight into the cast of the new Ghostbusters movie.
Bokeem has been cast as Sheriff Domingo and shall join an all-star cast with Carrie Coon (Infinity War), Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things), McKenna Grace (Captain Marvel) and Paul Rudd (Ant-Man).
Not only are we getting a slew of A-list stars for this, but it also looks like we’ll be getting a few of the original members back too with Sigourney Weaver, Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd all be returning, all of the original members have read the script, including Ernie Hudson, but we still don’t know if the rest will be coming back too.
The film’s going to be set in the same universe as Jason Reitman’s original two and will be focused around a family that somehow has ties to the original somehow.
The Ghostbusters have hit a bit of a slippy slops through the last few years, probably due to all the ectoplasm, but let’s hope that bringing it back to the original universe can help return it to the Ghostbusters we all know and loved.
