Guillermo Del Toro Joins Extraordinary Tales as Voice Actor

November 8th, 2014 by Todd Black Comments

The legendary film maker is taking on a different role this go round. As he’ll join Christopher Lee, Julian Sands, and Roger Corman as voice actors in the Poe anthology film Extraordinary Tales.

The movie is comprised of five stories, each of which is a Poe tale, each man is lending their voice as the narrator for the tale. Del Toro for example is doing a rendition of The Pit and the Pendulum.

Gilles Sousa, Bac Film’s international sales head, said, “ ‘Tales’ targets young adults but remains nonetheless a traditional film accessible to younger audiences since it’s not a horror feature.”

Extraordinary Tales is set to release in France, no release for other countries has been announced.
