When The Suicide Squad was announced as the second DC movie to drop in theaters, fans were shocked. When it was announced that the Joker would possibly be in the movie, fans wanted to know who would play him. When Jared Leto was rumored to be the Joker, with numerous reports saying he was, Leto said…well he didn’t say much. And that apparently will continue.

The Hollywood Reporter tried to get out of the Academy Award winning actor an answer as to whether he would play the Clown Prince of Crime. His answer?  “I’ve sworn to keep my mouth shut.”

Seriously, he doesn’t say anymore. So where does this leave us? Well, on one hand, he doesn’t deny it, which could confirm he really is The Joker and just doesn’t want to divulge what kind of take he’ll be doing on the character. But…he doesn’t confirm it either, and neither has WB or DC. So I guess we’ll just have to sit back and hope we get news one way or the other soon.
