We loved 2012’s Wreck It Ralph, the Disney movie about a video game villain who wanted to play nice.
And that’s why we’re so happy (along with a large amount of other people, we imagine) that Ralph himself, John C. Reilly has confirmed that a sequel is in the works! At the Galway Film Fleadh Reilly admitted “It was agreed right here in Galway, on the phone”. No word yet on what the sequel will involve, or if stars Sarah Silverman, Alan Tudyk or Jane Lynch will be back to reprise their roles from the first film, but it was reported a few weeks ago that Disney were looking to broker a deal with Nintendo to use the iconic videogame star Mario in the movie.
