While we liked (not loved) Kingsman: The Secret Service, we are very excited to see the sequel because, if nothing else, we saw a massive potential in this type of movie/franchise.

And now our interest is very much engaged at it seems FTN favourite, Julianne Moore, is in talks for the villain role.

Oh, yes please!

“Matthew Vaughn is back in the director’s chair for the continuing adventures of a wayward tough (Taron Egerton) from the wrong side of London who is taken in by a suave and sophisticated agent (Firth) and, a la Pygmalion, is turned into the best and brightest of operatives. Egerton is back with the action said to move from London to the States.”

The movie is set to film this summer without Colin Firth… it seems that, although there were discussions on how to include him in the movie, the actor is not set to return. He was superb in the original and one scene in particular was a highlight of the cinematic year.

Anyway, Moore is tipped to be the big bad, although that’s all that’s know for now.

We’re in.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
