Looks like Wolverine IS in X-Men: Apocalypse, after all…

June 22nd, 2015 by James Campbell Comments

We have heard many conflicting reports about who exactly will be appearing in X-Men: Apocalypse. Every other day, we receive word saying that Ian McKellan is appearing in the film, or Patrick Stewart isn’t.

Another actor we have heard these reports with has been Hugh Jackman. We all know that Jackman is scheduled to play the role for the last time in Wolverine III. However, many are wondering if he may make an appearance in Apocalypse.

Well wonder no longer, for today we have received confirmation… from just about the most unlikely source I could think of. According to Kika NY, they have designed a special duffle bag, specifically for Hugh Jackman filming X-Men.

This certainly is an unusual way to find out that Hugh Jackman will be appearing in X-Men, but never look a gift horse in the mouth. In many of the comic book storylines, X-Men get possessed and become horsemen (Servants of Apocalypse). Part of me is wondering, if the reason we have not heard so much about Jackman, is that he might be the villain?

Regardless, hearing Hugh Jackman will be playing Wolverine in another movie is always good news. Role on 2016, it’s long past time that we saw one of the biggest X-Men villains appear on the silver screen.

My name is James and I am a long time fan of Movies, TV and Comics. I am currently a student, wrapping up my education at Aberystwyth University. I have an undergraduate degree in film and television and I’m working on my Masters in scriptwriting. My personal favourite comic character is the Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), and I view the film adaptation as one of the most horrifying experiences I have had in a movie theatre. As far as film and television go, I am usually willing to give any genre a try, as long as the project is well executed.
