Luke Skywalker set for Book of Boba Fett and Ahsoka shows?

So, I have more of a fun story here for you nerds tonight, as I have a new rumour that sounds curiously similar to something I have heard too regarding the future of Star Wars TV.

I have heard a rumor from someone I trust, that we will see Luke Skywalker in Ahsoka Season one; now, I haven’t heard if it will be a new actor or if we’ll get more CGI Luke ala The Mandalorian season 2 but word is Luke will play a role in Ahsoka’s journey to find Grand Admiral Thrawn in the upcoming Disney+ series starring Rosario Dawson in the lead role.

Now, Den of Nerds are reporting that the now-filmed Book of Boba Fett series, which we already know will explore how exactly the famous bounty hunter got out of the Sarlaac Pit (here), will act as a sort of Mandalorian season 3 and will follow Din Djarin along with possibly Grogu and… Luke Skywalker!

Now, we have heard rumours that the current plan is that The Mandalorian, Book of Boba Fett, Ahsoka and the now-cancelled Rangers of the New Republic were set to crossover in an Avengers style event every so often – if true, this means we could see Luke’s story from the end of Mando season 3 picked up in both Ahsoka and Boba Fett. After all, it seems that Luke is building his new Jedi academy now, so it would make sense he would want Ahsoka involved somehow or, at the very least, would stumble upon her in his quest to find new Jedi.

As for Boba, well, Luke was the one, along with Han Solo, who punged him into the Sarlaac Pit, so he is connected to him already.

Anyway, admittedly it’s not much to go on, but I think this is a pretty likely direction for these shows to go in.

I also predict that we will get a Luke Skywalker Jedi Academy series in the future, so why hnot have it begin here?

Anyway, let me know your thoughts on this…

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
