Michael Douglas Will NOT Wear the Ant-Man Suit

September 9th, 2014 by Todd Black Comments

When it was announced that legendary actor Michael Douglas was going to play equally legendary character Hank Pym in Marvel’s Ant-Man, needlessly to say we were shocked.

As we got used to the idea, a thought slowly crept into our minds. “Would he ‘suit up’ and wear the costume? Even if only for one scene?” Well at an event for one of his latest movies, the actor gave us a definitive answer…

No.

Dark Horizons quotes Michael Douglas as saying this about the topic:

“Paul Rudd is ripped. He’s been training and working out for this picture for a long time. He was so cut, that they had to soften his costume up, with all the built-in six-packs and all of that. My costume will be hung up and Paul will be wearing it in good form.”

To be fair, you can hardly blame the guy for not putting the suit on. He’s honestly getting up there in age. And if Paul Rudd really is that ripped, he should get a lot of time in the suit.

Ant-Man comes out next July!
