So…Michael Shannon has been really good at duping people in regards to his role in Batman V Superman. We know he’ll return as Zod…but to what extent? Well, it appears that we have the real truth, and it’s actually quite simplistic. And yes, it comes from Shannon himself:
“Yeah, I say some stuff,” says Shannon, confirming that he will be more than just an inanimate corpse. “But not a whole lot! I mean, I am dead. I’m just like a ghost. It’s kind of like Russell Crowe in the first one. Jor-El. For some reason, these Kryptonian spirits, they linger. Even once you crack my neck, you can’t shut me up.”
This does make sense, but it still leaves some questions as to where his ghost/spirit will come from, or be seen at. Guess we’ll see this March!
