Joblo has posted numerous rumors that classic Aqua-villain Black Manta won’t be the villain in the King of Atlantis’s first film. That role will go to Aquaman’s half-brother, Ocean Master, who will battle with Arthur for the Throne of Atlantis. They are reportedly looking for a non-white actor to fill the role.
They also talk about Arthur’s wife, Mera, who is rumored to first appear in the first installment of the Justice League. They go on to describe her relationship to Aquaman as, “a force of nature whose relationship with Aquaman is closer to that between Max and Furiosa in Mad Max: Fury Road.”
