Luc Besson’s new movie Valerian looks great.
The man who brought us The Fifth Element, Nikita and Leon is in the process of adapting French comic Valerian et Laureline, written by Pierre Christin and drawn by Jean-Claude Mézières. As you’d expect from Besson, the movie is set to be packed with action, with stars Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne not shy about getting in on the fighting.
In the on-set video below, the two stars are seen getting in on the action during filming. So, plenty of fights, check. Retro-sci-fi feel, check. Great director, check. This has potential to be awesome.
