Universal has just released the new trailer for the fifth Jurassic Park movie. And it’s a belter.
Dinosaurs, explosions, a Jeff Goldblum cameo and Chris Pratt throwing out one liners. There’s nothing like playing to your target audience. Take a look:
So, what do we take away from this? Apparently some shadowy organisation is trying to profit from the dinosaurs being evacuated from Isla Nublar and steal both Blue the Raptor and what appears to be another, young, Indominus Rex. And Ian Malcolm’s back!
Yeah, okay, we know. The Jurassic Park series hasn’t ever really managed to capture the original novel’s cerebral side, and let’s face it is essentially now in giant monster movie territory. And they are to paleobiological accuracy what U571 was to historical accuracy. But Jurassic World was pure dumb fun.
Raptors still don’t have feathers, though.
