It looks like we may have some leaked plot points and details for Wonder Woman 84.
Now, before this goes further, I need need to stress this is all rumour but just in case, here’s that potential SPOILER WARNING.
So, what details do we (supposedly) know?
Well, it will see Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince acting as a spy during The Cold War hunting down a Russian spy. Word is that wonder Woman will already be known as a hero in the world which seems to contradict what was established in Batman V Superman, but we’ll see on that one – however, we did know that some time ago Gal Gadot did say they felt that line of dialogue about Wonder Woman leaving mankind behind was a mistake, so we probably should have expected this.
we also may have details about how Kristin Wiig’s Barbara Minerva will become Cheetah.
The movie’s second villain, Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal) will be tied into the creation of the Cheetah character.
Lord will be a character who can use magic and can grant wishes in the movie and it’s believed this will lead to the return of Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor (who died in the first Wonder Woman movie) and also how Minerva will become Cheetah, with her starting the movie as a hero like Wonder Woman but eventually falling to the dark side. So to speak.
On top of that there’s a rumour that Lord will take over Trevor’s body at some stage in the movie and will be able to manipulate Wonder Woman.
It sounds like the movie is going to be a bit crazy, but that’s fine by me… as long as it works on screen.
