Nod to iconic villain spotted on Ghostbusters 2020 set along with some cast and crew…

August 3rd, 2019 by Marc Comments

Looks like another iconic Ghostbusters character is set to be part of the new 2020 movie…

In a new set picture (below) we can clearly set a couple of artists putting an ad on the side of a building for Stay Put Marshmallows… now, I doubt Stay Puft will be in the movie, but it’s the little details that make a universe like this breathe.

But that’s not all, there’s been a few cool fan images posted from the set of the cast too:

Oh, and if it looks familiar, sharp-eyed fans will know why… it’s because it’s the same Staypuft ad that was seen on the side of the building beside the Ghostbusters HQ in the 1984 original:

Yes, Dan Aykroyd has been on set too – although in what capacity, we aren’t sure – along with director Jason reitman:

And also, despite saying he’s not recording anything until the Fall, actor Paul rudd is on set too…

Man, it’s such a great time to be a Ghostbusters fan!

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
