UPDATED AGAIN! More posters hit for Battle of the Five Armies Arrives!

October 15th, 2014 by Todd Black Comments

UPDATE: Three new posters have landed: (Source: Comingsoon)

The final chapter of the Hobbit trilogy, Battle of the Five Armies, has already gotten a trailer AND a sprawling banner showing off many of the characters in the movie. But today, the true one-sheet we’ll all no doubt be seeing soon in theaters has arrived.

It’s important to note a couple of things. First off that this poster truly focuses on Bilbo, something that the first film did with it’s poster, but the second one didn’t. Second, the surroundings. Not only do you see the lonely mountain in the background, but also destruction on numerous levels. Finally is the look of Bilbo, who not only looks ready for war, but appears to have already been in battle. This is a stark contrast from what happens in the book. Is this truly a sign of what’s to happen in the final movie?

We’ll all find out when Battle of the Five Armies arrives on December 12, 2014

UPDATE!: Warner Bros. has taken to Facebook to determine which character one-shot would be released next. Fans decided upon Gandalf, and what an interesting one-shot it is!

Remember, at the end of Desolation of Smaug, Gandalf was trapped in by Saurons’ forces. And though the trailer shows in being at the final battle between the armies, it’s unclear at the moment how he’ll get free.

Voting for the next poster is underway, with Tauriel, Thorin, and Galadriel going at it for the next reveal!

Second Update!!!:Not to be outdone, the fairest of the elves (let’s just admit it), the Lady Galadriel has gotten her own poster too!

And we thought she looked scary in Fellowship of the Ring right? Clearly she is ready for war!

The next post will debut soon, go to the Hobbit Facebook page (link above!) to decide if Legolas or Thranduil will get revealed next!

Update X2! Two new posters have been added to the growing Battle of the Five Armies one-sheet collection. Check out Legolas and Bard in all their movie poster glory!

More posters you say??? Why not! Today, Tauriel and Thorin take the stage! Check them out then let us know what you think!
