So, with all the hullabaloo over a female taking the 007 mantle in the new James Bond movie, ex-Bond star Pierce Brosnan has added to it.
The star played Bond in four movies, wrapping up with the less than brilliant Die Another Day in 2002 before making way for the current Bond, Daniel Craig.
But, anyway, he was asked if he’d like to see a female Bond and he said he believed it would be an ‘exhilarating’ choice.
“Yes! I think we’ve watched the guys do it for the last 40 years, get out of the way, guys, and put a woman up there. I think it would be exhilarating, it would be exciting,” the star said.
However, he added: “I don’t think [it] is going to happen with the Broccolis. I don’t think that is going to happen under their watch.”
Well, in current year anything can happen as fans of Doctor Who, Ocean’s 11, Thor, Ghsotbusters and other can testify.
