Well, it’s been a big week for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, thanks to EW getting loads of info and details…

And, with that in mind, we’ve brought you all the best bits on one place… right here.

Ok, first off, there’s a lot of Darth Vader chat as we now know the Dark Lord is back.

Here’s what we know at this stage:

“He will be in the movie sparingly,” Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy said. “But at a key, strategic moment, he’s going to loom large.”

Vader is described as the “muscle, the fixer,”  so it’s likely when he appears it’ll be devastating for the rebellion: “The Empire’s grip on the galaxy is beginning to be pried open, and the Death Star is how Emperor Palpatine intends to maintain his dominion over the star systems rising up against him.”

Director Gareth Edwards says Vader is like a myth, something tut’s not often spoken off: “Within the Rebellion, it’s not commonly spoken about [Vader].

“Within the Empire, there is the culture of knowing of the existence of Darth Vader. There’s definitely an underlying feeling that there is a power – a dark power – available to the Empire and that if you overstep your mark, you will suffer the consequences.”

Kennedy also confirms that James Earl Jones, the voice of Vader in the other movies, will be back to voice him once again… we figured but this is awesome news!

With Vader playing the support bad guy in this one, Ben Mendelsohn’s Director Orson Krennic ais the main villain this time out… but he and Vader have history already: “There is a lot of palace intrigue going on in the Empire, with people conspiring to move up the ranks and sabotaging each other,” producer John Knoll says. “There’s not a lot of loyalty there.”

Vader and Krennic are far from friends on this movie and we’re guessing Vader will end him at some point during proceedings: “Vader doesn’t really play by the rules.

“He’s present in the military structure, but he’s not beholden to it. He’s not accountable to anybody, really, except Palpatine.”

We’re so excited to see a fully armed and operational Vader killing some Rebels in this movie!

In other Rebels news, it seems one of the most iconic pieces of Star Wars is causing a few head scratches for the maker of this new Anthology Movie: The opening scroll or, more precisely, the question of wether or not this movie show have one: “We talk about that all the time. It’s something that we’re right in the midst of discussing even now, so I don’t want to say definitively what we’re doing,” Kennedy told the magazine.

“The crawl and some of those elements live so specifically within the ‘saga’ films that we are having a lot of discussion about what will define the [stand-alone] Star Wars Stories separate and apart from the saga films. So we’re right in the middle of talking about that.”

We think it’s not Star Wars if there’s no scroll…

Finally, Director Garth Edwards and Kathleen Kennedy opened up about the reshoots and say there’s nothing out of the ordinary going on: “I mean it was always part of the plan to do reshoots. We always knew we were coming back somewhere to do stuff. We just didn’t know what it would be until we started sculpting the film in the edit,” Edwards says.

As for the rumours that a large part of the movie is being refilled? “Blown out of proportion a little bit,” he says…

Kennedy added: “There’s nothing about the story that’s changing, with a few things that we’re picking up in additional photography.”

Rogue One will wrap up production in September for its December release.

Oh and here’s some cool new images from the movie… that Shadowtrooper holding the toy Stormtrooper is such a fantastic image, isn’t it?
