Context is important in many a thing. A phrase or sentence can be either be completely logical or offensive depending on the context. Recently, Ron Perlman has been doing a string of interviews and the like and mentioning nearly every time that he wants Hellboy 3 made. However, there’s a catch:

“Let me make the record clear,” Perlman told Slashfilm after a TCA panel for his Amazon series Hand of God. “I don’t want to do Hellboy 3. It’s a pain in the ass to put that makeup on and take it off. But I feel we’re obligated to finish the story. That’s it. End of conversation.”

So technically, he doesn’t WANT to do it, but rather feels the NEED to do it. Makes sense. Of course, this is still massively uncertain at this point in time. If it happens though? He’ll suit up!

“[If] del Toro says ‘put the makeup on,’ you can shoot me in a wheelchair and I’ll still be Hellboy,” Perlman said. “I guess the only cutoff point is when they actually close the box. If you don’t see me get up and go, ‘Hang on, I was kidding,’ then I’m still ready.”
