Well, the speculation can be ended now as we finally know who will be directing Ryan Reynolds’ debut in the MCU as Deadpool.
Taking to Twitter, Reynolds posted the image above, writing ‘The third film in my Shawn Levy trilogy will be a tad more stabby’, meaning that, following Free Guy and The Adam Project, he and Levy will be teaming up to give the MCU a much-needed shot of Wade Wilson.
Levy is no stranger to big movies with Night at the Museum, Reel Steel and Stranger Things (yes, I know it’s tv) all under his belt, so he is certainly a good choice for Deadpool 3 and he a Reynolds already have a fun history together, which should make it more fun.
We’re hearing on the grapevine that the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will see Deadpool, along with Zazie Beetz’s Domino and Josh Brolin’s Cable all set to return too, which is great news if it turns out to be true.
What do you think of Levy as director of Deadpool in the MCU? Yes, no, or something more complicated? Let me know all your thoughts, guys,
