While details are very sparse, there has been exciting news from SDCC 2023, especially if you’re a fan of DC’s animated stuff (and who isn’t?).
So, it seems that after the next release on the DC animated slate, Warworld, we’ll be getting a Watchmen movie and a Crisis on Infinite Earths adaptation.
While both movies are set for next year, so far we know, well, nothing.
Thoughts? I know you have them! Voice-off in the usual ways on FTN’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
The Justice League: Crisis On Infinite Earths movie will likely adapt the iconic comic series and could be a fun way to pull in previous animated shows and worlds; remember the Arrowverse did a massive Crisis event a could of years back and, while it was a very loose adaptation, it did pull in stories from the movies and TV shows back years and did a much better job than either DC or Marvel’s big screen multiverse adventures. Just sayin’.
As for Watchmen, it’s probably going to be an adaptation of the original Alan Moore graphic novel but it might be an additional tale, it’s hard to know, really.
When I hear more, so will you.
