Last night at SDCC 2019 DC Animated played their new animated movie Hush for the crowds.
But before they did so they revealed a big year for Superman in their animated movies in 2020.
First up, we’re getting Superman: Red Son, the Elseworlds tale from Mark Millar that saw baby Kal-El’s starship crash in the USSR rather than Smallvile and Superman becomes a champion for Communism – obviously, this will be a standalone Superman tale.
The next tow movie though, may be part of the DC universe that already includes Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, Justice League: War, Son of Batman, Justice League: Throne of Atlantis, Batman vs. Robin, Batman: Bad Blood, Justice League vs. Teen Titans, Justice League Dark, Teen Titans: The Judas Contract, Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay, The Death of Superman, Constantine City of Demons, the Reign of Superman two-parter and now Hush.
The next two movies are Superman: Man of Tomorrow which is touted as an original Superman tale set in Clark Kent’s early career as the Man Of Steel.
Finally, at the end of the year, we’re getting Justice League Dark: Apokolips War which nothing was revealed bout but many believe is likely based on Geoff Johns’ Darkseid War.
TV, Cinema and animation… DC have it all covered.
