It’s always good to see an actor or actress support their movie. When it comes to Vin Diesel, Fast and Furious clearly means a lot to him. So much so that he made a bold prediction for the film.

“Universal is going to have the biggest movie in history. It will probably win Best Picture at the Oscars — unless the Oscars don’t want to be relevant,” he tells Variety.

Ok then, that’s…bold. In many levels in fact. There’s no doubt that Furious 7 will do good due to previous box office takes, but the biggest in history? We’ll have to see.

Obviously though the thoughts turned somber as he recalled what he went through with Paul Walker’s death and the need to finisht he film.

“I went through three boxes of tissues, and I was so embarrassed. I had always been the kind of actor that other actors respect. I was just failing so hard.”

Ironically, it was three words that helped him get through that time…”I am Groot”.

“That was healing for me … To play a character that could reincarnate, rejuvenate and represent life as trees do.”

So there you go. How big do you think Furious 7 will do? Should the Oscars honestly consider it for Picture of the Year? let us know.
