Sigourney Weaver: I’m in Avatar 2, 3 and 4…

OK, so we know the Avatar sequels  are coming but what we don’t know yet is who will be returning and in what capacity, but it looks like Sigourney Weaver knows something…

Chatting to Vulture, Weaver, who played Dr Grace Augustine in the first movie, had an interesting bit of information:  “It’s going to be an adventure! It will be awesome. I can’t even imagine what I am taking on — and what James Cameron is taking on — with filming three AVATARs at once, but … Peter Jackson did it with the HOBBIT films, so we have that to look to. It will be challenging for me. I can’t talk about it, but my part is a little different in each one. I’ll transform somewhat.”

Since she – SPOILER – died in the first movie, we’re curious what she has ‘transformed’ into… but are we excited? Not yet… but if we’ll give anyone a chance it’s James Cameron.

Thought? Let us know in the usual ways…

Now, who’s going to explain why the Na’vi will bother to bring Colonel Quaritch back??

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
