With April drawing ever close, and thus beginning production of Suicide Squad, the news from the film is heating up. Today, we got word that may suggest that not only is Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke in the film, but they have a heavy indication of who they want to play him.
Joe Manganiello, who at one time was considered up for the role of Superman (before it was given to Henry Cavill), is heavily favored to play the fan-favorite mercenary. How favored you ask?
“it is an almost certainty that Manganiello has the role.” says the source of this info
Deathstroke has always been a fan-loved character, but his reason appearance in Arrow has skyrocketed him to new heights. If all goes well, Deathstroke is set to play one of the antagonists for Suicide Squad.
