Ok, we’re excited for Avengers: Civil War, sorry, Captain America: Civil War and just today a host of rumoured details about the movie have appeared online and there’s some great stuff in here.

But beware, these are SPOILER HEAVY in places, ok?

Joblo have the details and we’ve summed them up below:

– Black Panther will be on a mission – possibly hunting The Winter Soldier – for his own reasons. He will be more on Stark’s side of the Civil War. His suit will have Vibranium armour and he will at one point scratch Cap’s Shield and he may be Stark’s secret weapon against Steve Rogers. He will also have a jet with very Stark-like tech.

– Hawkeye will have more purple in his outfit this time around.

– Ant-man’s suit will be different than the one in the upcoming standalone movie and will be much more hi-tech and yes, he’ll be giant man too, growing to around 20-foot-tall to fight again Iron Man and co.Oh, and he’ll be fired on one of Hawkeye’s arrows at some point.

– War Machine will be back and his armour will have multiple upgrades and he’ll be able to remove his shoulder canon and use it as a hand-gun too.

– Falcon will have his new red suit and it will have wrist lasers and grappling hooks and, in a Jarvis-like upgrade, his telepathic bird Redwing will appear but this time he’ll not be a living creature but rather a drone that Falcon controls remotely.

– Apparently Captain America will have the long-standing comic part of his outfit – chainmail – added to his suit.

So there you have it… some nice little nods in there. Do you think they’re the real deal? Let us know your thoughts…

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
