Whenever you’re asked what your favourite Tarantino movie is, it’s always a hard one to answer. Is it, Inglorious Bastards, Django Unchained, Pulp Fiction or perhaps Reservoir Dogs?
However let us not forget that in his long list of films there are two films that can always put a smile, and confusion, on your face. The Kill Bills are the only of Tarantino’s films to be directly linked with each other. They are essentially one long film, in two volumes of awesomeness. We have been waiting for the super cut for ages but it’s never been in sight.
However, there is likely a reason for that.
Ahead of the release of his next film, The Hateful Eight, which will be released on 8th January in the Uk, Tarantino recently discussed his aspirations for another volume of Kill Bill.
Talking to Ben Mankiewicz of What The Flick?, he explained how he felt about Uma Thurman’s character in the film: “I put the character of Beatrix Kiddo through a lot, and so I wanted her to have this much time for peace. I wanted her to have some time with her daughter and not have to be in the genre machine… She can actually enjoy her life for awhile,”
He later confirmed that it would take place during a modern time period.
It seems we are set to see the Blade wielding Assassin once again.
