So after Infinity War and Engame, it was taken that directors Joe and Anthony Russo were done with the MCU… at least for the foreseeable future.
In April the duo had this to say: “It’s our Endgame, at least for now. We don’t have any plans for now to make any more Marvel movies. It certainly may come up in the future at some point. We have a wonderful working relationship with [Marvel Studios] and a great passion for what they’re doing.”
However, yesterday the brothers dropped the clip below which was their reveal of Infinity War footage at SDCC from a few years back with just the date: 07/19/19 which is next weekend, which is, more exactly, San Diego Comic Con.
But why?
Are they teasing new footage from something? Are they teasing a new MCU project? Are they simply teasing the line-up for Phase 4 which is expected to be revealed at the event?
Who knows, but one thing does seem obvious… it looks like the Russos are not done with the MCU yet.
