Following the report that Toby Maguire was back (along with Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland) as Spider-man (here) for the third MCU Spider-man movie, it seems we have confirmation that the star, now 45, is set to put on the iconic red and blue spandex again.
Maguire was apparently holding out for a bigger payday but, if this is what we think (and hope) then he’s been given what he wanted because here he is arriving for a costume fitting in North Hollywood, California, in the parking lot of the Wardrobe Workroom store.
Is this confirmation? No, but given that Maguire hasn’t been in a movie since 2014’s Pawn Sacrifice (no, we’re not counting voice acting here), and all these rumours are bouncing around, I’d say it’s pretty likely we’re about to see Maguire’s Peter Parker/Spider-man swinging from the rooftops again…
