Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal), recently appeared at Fan Expo Canada and may have just divulged his A Star Wars Story: Rogue One character’s name.

The apparent name featured in a signature from Mads Mikkelsen to Rebel Force Radio Listener J.J. Good can be seen below.

The name Galen is clearly underlined and written in Mikkelsen’s hand and naturally suspicion arose. It could just be a cruel trick to us given his years as the manipulating Hannibal but the circumstances do make us believe it’s real.

The name Galen could sound familiar to many star wars gaming fans; it was Starkiller’s real name in The Force Unleashed. While the game series has since been rendered non-canon and unconnected, this could be a nod to the series or even the same character based in the Star Wars universe. It remains unclear though and could easily just be the name of his character, if at all.

It does get us excited though as to what it could be.

Star Wars: Rogue One, is set for release on 16th December 2016.

Actor Mads Mikkelsen revealed the name of his ROGUE ONE character in this signature to RFR listener J.J. Good. Does GALEN ring any bells?
The guys at Star Wars Autograph Collection just posted a new signature from Mads that FAN EXPO CANADA and there’s the name Galen again…

My name is Jonathan Snelling. I’ve been a movie fan for a long time now and last year completed a degree in Film and Television Studies at Aberystwyth University. It’s hard to choose a favourite film but I’ve always been a major fan of Christopher Nolan’s Batman saga. I’m really interested to see how Ben Affleck does in Dawn of Justice as it's set to be an incredible film. I’m usually willing to see any genre but naturally some more so than others.
