WATCH: At last! The trailer for Deadpool 3 AKA Deadpool & Wolverine is here!

February 12th, 2024 by Marc Comments

Finally! We have our first trailer for Deadpool 3, or Deadpool & Wolverine as it’s now officially been named!

Bringing the X-Men universe, in particular here being Deadpool and Wolverine, played by Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman respectively, into the MCU has been a big dream for fans for a long time and I know we’ve seen hints to it happening already – especially in the last few Marvel movies – but this is where the two worlds collide and the X-Men officially find themselves in the MCU.

And having the TVA – Time Variance Authority – be the means by which it happens is a stroke of genius; introduced in the Loki series, the TVA’s job is to ‘prune’ and correct time transgressions and illegal time-travelling and, after the end of Deadpool 2, that puts Deadpool right in their crosshairs. Although, he might be getting a job more than being hunted down.

Thoughts? I know you have them! Voice-off in the usual ways on FTN’s FacebookTwitterInstagramYoutube, Bluesky,
TruthTumblrThreads & Mastodon!

Also, there’s profanity in the trailer which, so far, has been something not really explored in the MCU but with this and the recent addition of the Netflix shows into official MCU canon, it’s likely it’ll be a part of a more adult side of the MCU in the future.

There’s a lot of returning faces in the trailer too and with this being the only Marvel Studios movie coming out this year, they must be pretty confident in it… I know I am excited for it after seeing this trailer.

Hugh Jackman’s hilarious response to the new trailer being posted gives a new potential title for the movie…

Deadpool & Wolverine hit cinemas on July 6th!
